Trust God

When we go to heaven and see how magnificently glorious He is…
I don’t know if we’ll have any memory of this world, but if we do, we’ll probably think, how could I have ever not trusted God?

He’s so big.
He’s so powerful.
He’s so all knowing.
He’s so loving.

How could we have ever not trusted Him, with everything?

Trust!
Trust the sovereignty, the supreme power, of God.
Trust that He is above everything.
Trust that He’s always in control.
Trust that He has a plan and a purpose for your life.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Keep the fact fresh in your mind.

He’s wonderful beyond anything we can comprehend.
He knows everything about everything, even before it happens.

That’s the God you serve.

Stop yourself when a thought of worry comes into your mind and remind yourself of how great and mighty the God you serve is.

Suffocate any thoughts of worry, with words of worship.

Thank Him for how good He is.
Thank Him that He’s working things out for your good, even if you don’t see it.
Thank Him that He has a plan and a purpose for your life.
Thank Him for the blessings in your life.

It’s through thanks giving and praise that you will refresh your mind with how good the God we serve is.

Do that and watch your worries evaporate.
