Call out to Jesus

Blind Bartimaeus…
Seated by the roadside, begging, forgotten.
His world, dark.

But, he knew of Jesus; his faith was his light.

And then one day, a moment arrived that he wouldn’t let pass by.

It was Jesus nearby.

He shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
(Mark 10:47, ESV)

Oh, what a nuisance he was seen as.
They tried to quiet him.

But, oh no, he wouldn’t be quiet; he shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
(Mark 10:48, ESV)

Jesus stopped, and said, “Call him.”
(Mark 10:49, ESV)

So, the people called him.
And Bartimaeus didn’t waste a second; he sprang up and went to Jesus.

Jesus asked, “What do you want me to do for you?”
(Mark 10:51, NIV)

He replied, “Rabbi, I want to see.”
(Mark 10:51, NIV)

Jesus said, “Go, for your faith has healed you.”
(Mark 10:52, NLT)

And instantly, he could see.

In a blink, his view went from empty to everything.
In a blink, his life was changed.

What about you?
What do you want changed?

Whatever it might be, be like Bartimaeus…
Call out to Jesus.

Your cries for help aren’t too small for Him to hear.
Your need isn’t too big for Him to meet.
Call out to Jesus.

“The Lord hears His people when they call to Him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.”
(Psalm 34:17, NLT)

He’s there for you.
He’ll always be there for you.
Call out to Jesus.

If you need help, call out to Him now.
There’s no need to delay.
Call out to Jesus.

He’ll help.
