Walk in faith

As we get older, sometimes our wealth of experience can hold us back.

Sometimes we can be too smart for our own good.

Oh, you may have seen something a hundred times and said, “I know it can’t be done like that.”

Well, my friend, I’m here to remind you, when God is involved, there are no rules.

All expectations of what should and shouldn’t happen go out the window.

Look at David, who famously conquered Goliath.
Everyone was fearful of Goliath, which is understandable.
Goliath was a literal giant, over 9 feet tall.
Everyone had a reason to fear him.

And then along came David…
Young, small, and with little experience.
Here he comes, without armor or weapons, just a slingshot and a rock.

But he had his faith, and felt God-led…
“The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” -1 Samuel 17:37

So, I want to encourage you…
When something doesn’t make sense, but you feel a tug, a peace to do something, do it.

God’s talking to you.
And if He’s telling you, He’s got it figured out.
You just have to walk in faith.

“But it doesn’t make sense.”
Walk in faith.

“But it’s scary.”
Walk in faith.

Do your part.
God will do His part.
Listen to God.
Obey God.

He has good things in store for you.
Take steps forward.
Walk in faith.
