And then in a moment

We’re praying.
We’re in a hard situation.
We’re in a situation we didn’t ask for.
And we don’t understand why God isn’t answering our prayers.

We’re praying, day after day.
We’re wondering.
Where is God?

But, our timeline isn’t God’s timeline.
We don’t know what God is orchestrating on our behalf.
We don’t understand all the parts of the puzzle that need to transpire, first.
We don’t know all the details.

And then in a moment…
It all changes.

In a moment, a prayer is answered.
In a moment, a door opens.
In a moment, a new relationship starts.
In a moment, a healing happens.
In a moment, a job is offered.
In a moment, God is felt.

It’s not our job to determine the timing, it’s our job to remain faithful, and trust God’s timing.
It’s not our job to get discouraged, it’s our job to be encouraged, knowing that God is working things out for our benefit. (Romans 8:28)

Look at Joseph.
He was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers.
He was falsely accused, and imprisoned.
And yet through it all, he remained faithful.
Through it all, he put his faith in God.
And he trusted God.

And in a moment, it all changed.
In a moment, he was called to interpret the dream of the most powerful man in Egypt.
In a moment, he interpreted a dream that no one else could.
In a moment, he was appointed the second most powerful person in Egypt.

You may be in a tough situation, a situation with pain you don’t want, a situation you didn’t ask for.
But, stay faithful.
Keep trusting.
Keep praying.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
-James 1:2-3, NIV

Persevere.
God is going to move you out fo this chapter in your life.
He has something for you beyond your expectations, just like He did for Joseph.

Stand on the rock of your faith.
God is good.
God is working.

And in a moment, your situation will change.
And when that happens, praise God, and give Him glory.

Your moment is coming.
