Key to contentment

Contentment doesn’t depend on circumstances; it depends on perspective.

In every situation you face, see it with a thankful heart.

Are you facing a struggle?
Thank God for the opportunity to grow!
Have you been knocked down?
Thank God for the chance to rise again!

“… for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.”
-Philippians 4:11, ESV

You see, contentment is a choice.
It’s a choice to be thankful despite circumstances.
It’s a choice to trust God above all else.
It’s a choice to rest assured that your life has God-given purpose, and that….
“… all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” -Romans 8:28, NKJV

The book of your life is being written day by day.

And like with any interesting story, there will be wonderful days and challenging moments.
But you can find peace, find contentment, knowing that wherever you are in your story, God has your best interests at heart.
He’s with you, guiding you, giving you strength, providing for you, protecting you, and your life is playing a role in God’s Kingdom.

Keep these truths in mind.
They will serve as a key to your contentment in all circumstances.
Thank you, Lord.
