Your life is your message

Your life is on display.

In sunny moments, and stormy moments, people see you.
They see you, a Christian, and they’re curious how you’ll handle triumphs.
They’re curious how you’ll handle trials.

They’re watching to see the character of a Christ follower.

With success, are you giving God glory?
With setback, are you staying strong in your faith?

Your reactions are your reflection.
Are you reflecting Jesus?

Often we think of preaching, as something that’s only done by pastors.
But, your life is your message.
It’s your sermon.

Your words, your actions, your reactions, they’re all influencing those around you.
People are paying attention.
They’re noticing.

But, this doesn’t mean you live with the pressure of perfection.
It’s not about creating a façade of faultlessness.
That’s impossible.

It’s about authenticity, honesty, and humility.

When you mess up, own up.
When you’re in the wrong, apologize.
When you’re hurt, forgive.

Let people see the power of a second chance in Christ.
You may be the only Bible some people read.

“Your very lives are a letter that anyone can read by just looking at you. Christ himself wrote it—not with ink, but with God’s living Spirit; not chiseled into stone, but carved into human lives—and we publish it.”
(2 Corinthians 3:3, MSG)

Your life is your message.
Live it like Jesus.
