Rest in God’s presence

I want you to read this and let it truly sink in.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; He leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name.”
-Psalm 23:1-3, NLT

Think of the calmness that comes with these words, the tranquility they bring to your mind.
Let that tranquility seep into your soul.

It’s what God wants for you.
He wants to rejuvenate you.

The challenges of life…
The busyness…
The unrest…

Take time each day, to set that all aside, and spend time with God.
He wants to be your refuge, your sanctuary.
You can always find rest, and peace in His presence.

We’re often so caught up in the busyness, the doing, that we forget to simply be still in His presence.
“Be still, and know that I am God…” -Psalm 46:10, NLT

Slow down, and seek Him.
Make time for God, every day.

He will bring you to a place of peace and tranquility that the world cannot provide.
Lie in those green pastures, to rest by those still waters.

His peace will permeate your soul.
And you’ll feel rested and refreshed, ready for whatever is next.

You’re loved,
-Steinar
