Expect obstacles

Expect obstacles.
Expect jabs.

The more you are focused on God, the more the devil is going to be your enemy and come against you any way he can.

The closer you are to the Lord, the stronger your faith, the more consistent you are in reading the Word, and the more consistent you are in daily prayer, the angrier he becomes.

He hates devotion to God.
He hates your honoring of God.
He hates your walking with God.

The more you do that, the more he will try to jab you,
to annoy you,
to anger you.

If strange random nuisances happen to you, it’s not a sign you’re doing something wrong; it’s a sign you’re living right and living for the Lord.

Glorify God.
Stay strong in your faith.

When you realize that the root of these nuisances is to rattle you, it’s easier to just shake them off and move on because you know the intent is to rattle you.

Have no fear because God is your shield.

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the strength of my salvation, and my stronghold.” -Psalm 18:2

God is your protection.

“The Lord will keep you from all harm; He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” -Psalm 121:7-8

Stay strong.
March on.
