Money

People chase it to be fulfilled.
Yes, we all need it, but it’s not the answer to everything.
If it was, billionaires would have the best lives.
But, they don’t.

Sure, they can buy comfortable things.
Sure, it’s fun to buy things.

But, joy that comes from things is fleeting.
Just think of something you really wanted to buy, and then you got it.

It’s probably collecting dust right now…
Maybe in a junk yard right now.

Like sand through your hand…
It once was so shiny…
Then it wasn’t.

That’s the story of things.
There’s no lasting joy.
It evaporates.

We weren’t designed to be satisfied by dollars.
It’s a thirst that’s never quenched.

The answer is always…
More.

But, there’s one thing in this life that fills a hole in everyone’s heart.
That’s Jesus.

He’s the foundation of a life that’s not just filled with joy, but spills with joy.

It’s the complete opposite of things.
Things brings jealousy.

A life filled with Jesus, draws people to Jesus, and fills people with their own joy.

That’s a well that never runs dry.
There’s no worry of thirst.

That’s only possible…
Through Jesus.

That’s a life full of love, and positivity, and peace.
That’s what God wants for each of us.
That’s a wonderful life.

That’s a life that trusts God’s power over seen circumstances.

That’s a life that will see God work.
That’s a life without price.

So, yes, make money.
Yes, enjoy things.

But, let’s not forget that the key that everyone’s looking for, whether they realize or not, doesn’t open a door to a purchase, it opens a door to salvation.

That’s were there’s true satisfaction.
