Forget age, it’s not a factor

It’s easy to look at our lives and say, “I’m too young, nobody will take me seriously.”
Or, “I’m too old, my time has passed.”
But, that’s not true.

That’s not how God’s Kingdom works.
Your purpose is not defined by calendar years.
David was young, and inexperienced… but, God was involved, and Goliath fell.
Moses was up in years, he was 80… but, God was involved, and he led the Israelites out of Egypt.

There are plenty more examples of God using people of all ages in the Bible.
And it’s no different with you.

As long as there is breath in your lungs, God is not done with you.
He has a specific purpose for you.

There are people you will come across that God wants you to impact.
He wants His light to shine through you, to them.

We’re all made up of different experiences…
All of which God can use.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28, NIV)

There may be a tough situation that you’ve been through, and now it’s behind you…
But, someone else is in the midst of that same situation.

Don’t be surprised if God divinely aligns you to meet that person.
You’re an encouragement to that person.
You’re an answered prayer.

You’re not just floating through life, at whatever age you are.
You have God (through the Holy Spirit) in you, who wants to direct you.
You have eternal impact in you…
At every age.

So, live with an open expectation that God will use you in special, unique ways…
Ways that are perfect for you.

When you feel His nudge to do something, or say something…
Listen.
Obey.

It’s an open door, right in front of you…
Divinely aligned.

Step through it…
See what God has in store.
It’s meant for you.
It’ll be joyful.

So, stay in touch with God.
Be faithful.
Be open.

And watch God work through you in all sorts of ways, at every age.
God has good in store for you.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10, NIV)
