Don’t worry about what other people think

You can’t control what people think or say about you.

No matter how perfect you are, or how hard you try, there will always be someone who doesn’t like you, doesn’t approve of you, or doesn’t agree with you.

And that’s okay.

Because your worth, your value, your identity is not based on what anyone thinks of you.

It’s based on who God says you are.

And God says you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

He says you are His child, created in His image (Genesis 1:27).

He says you are loved with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3).

And that’s all that matters.

It doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t like your style, your personality, your beliefs, your choices.

What matters is that you are living your life in a way that honors God, and that you are true to yourself.

If you’re constantly worried about what other people think, you’ll never be able to fully embrace who you are and live the life that God has planned for you.

You’ll be living a life that’s not authentic to you.

And that’s not the way to live.

God has given you unique gifts, talents, and passions.

He has a specific purpose and plan for your life.

And it’s up to you to pursue that purpose with all your heart, regardless of what anyone else thinks.

Because at the end of the day, you will stand before God and give an account of your life.

Not anyone else’s.

So don’t waste your time and energy worrying about other people’s opinions.

Focus on what God thinks of you, and let His love and grace guide you in everything you do.

When you live for an audience of One, everything else falls into place.

You will find peace, joy, and fulfillment in being who God created you to be, and doing what He has called you to do.

So don’t let the fear of what others might say or think hold you back.

Step out in faith, and trust that God has your back.

He will never leave you or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

He is with you every step of the way, cheering you on.

So be yourself.

And let the world see the amazing person that God created you to be.

From,
Steinar
