Vocalize your prayers.
There’s power in the tongue.
There’s power in your spoken words.

The Bible tells us…
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…“
Proverbs 18:21 (ESV)

“Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me” is an old phrase, but in fact words do hurt.

Words have the power to lift up or tear down.

We all have something negative or positive that’s been said to us, long ago, that we remember, a seemingly unmemorable moment, but because of the words that were chosen, the words are a memory, even though the person who said it, is unlikely to even remember saying it.

Choose your words wisely.
They are filled with power.

Use your words to encourage others.
Use your words to encourage yourself.

God used words to create everything.
He formed everything with words.

“For when He spoke, the world began! … “
Psalm 33:9 (NLT)

“Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.”
Genesis 1:3 (NLT)

“Then God said, “Let the land sprout with vegetation … And that is what happened.”
Genesis 1:11 (NLT)

“Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. …. And that is what happened.”
Genesis 1:14-15 (NLT)

God said.
God said.
God said.

He spoke and it was.
That’s power.
That’s incomprehensible power.

We have power in our spoken words as well, as we are made in His image… “So God created human beings in His own image. … “
Genesis 1:27 (NLT)

Being created in His image it only makes sense that power exists in what we speak.

Be the encourager, the uplifter to people in your life.

Encourage your family members.
Encourage your friends.
Encourage yourself.

And pray consistently, pray daily… vocally, not just mentally.

Release the power that God has given you.

You will impact the people you know.
You will impact your prayers.

Use your God given power.
