I’ve been thinking about AI a lot.
I’ve been having some wonders and worries about AI and what it will mean for income.
Will it impact me…
Negatively?
Will it impact you…
Negatively?
How many jobs will it eliminate?
What will happen?
Its abilities are advancing at such a fast rate…
It’s hard to make predictions.
The only thing we can say with certainty…
It’s not going away.
It’s going to become more prevalent.
Even if you’re retired.
You may call the pharmacy and end up talking with someone that sounds like a person but it’s AI.
We may not like it.
But companies will adopt it.
It’s profitable.
But I want to remind you about what I’m reminding myself.
Does AI invalidate God’s Word?
No!
Is God surprised by it?
No!
Is He any less powerful because of it?
No!
Technology advances.
It always has.
God stays the same.
He always has.
The world will be uncertain.
It always has.
God remains consistent.
He always has.
So, while AI may shift how we work, how we live…
It doesn’t shift the Word of God.
“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?”
-Matthew 6:25-26
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”
-Philippians 4:19
So, whatever the future holds…
Hold on to God’s Word.
Hold on to the One who created the people who create the technology.
And let’s all be ready for Christ’s return.
It could happen at any moment.
