God doesn’t just guide us to things…
He steers us away from things.
Sometimes that can feel like rejection.
But it’s divine redirection.
A job, a relationship…
Whatever it might be that didn’t transpire…
You may be sad about it.
But know that God is looking beyond it.
We see today.
He sees 10,000 tomorrows.
(Deuteronomy 31:8)
So, let’s do our best to trust and be thankful…
Not just when things are going the way we like, but when things don’t make sense.
Because even then…
God’s at work.
Because even then…
We’re going to benefit.
(Romans 8:28)
That’s not a hope…
It’s a promise.
So, let’s hold on to it.
Let’s believe it.
Because His dependability…
It doesn’t change.
And His goodness…
It doesn’t stop.
