The devil doesn’t just want you afraid of tomorrow.
He wants you to forget yesterday.
Because a forgetful faith is a fearful faith.
He doesn’t want you thinking about how God’s been there for you before…
How He’ll be there for you again.
He wants you to forget…
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
(Heb. 13:8)
He wants your mind full of what ifs and wonders.
He wants you worried.
But, when he tries to plant those seeds…
You let your roots talk.
You think about how God has worked in your life…
In special ways.
The right doors opening…
At the right time.
The right people in your life…
At the right time.
You have examples like this.
Hold on to them!
I don’t even trust my memory.
I write it down.
I don’t want to forget moments that have God’s fingerprints all over them.
I want to read it…
Like a buffet of it.
I want to flood my mind with it.
You do the same!
It’s a weapon of encouragement.
The devil will hate it.
You’ll feel the difference in your faith.
You’ll feel comfort.
So, write it, type it…
Do whatever to document it.
Start it today!
Start with what you remember.
Keep adding to it.
You’ll have the boost you need…
When you need it!
