Dependability

We live in a world where dependability isn’t guaranteed.

People make promises.
Sometimes they get broken.
It’s just a reality.

We’ve all experienced it.
It’s unfortunate.

And it’s not limited to people.
Sometimes it’s products we buy that are supposed to last.
But not long after purchase…
It just stops working.

The point is…
People and products aren’t perfect.
They falter.

But who is perfect?
Jesus Christ.

He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever.
(Hebrews 13:8)

He’s a rock we can stand on.
(Psalm 18:2)

He’s an anchor that keeps us from drifting.
(Hebrews 6:19)

He’s shelter from storms.
(Psalm 91:1–2)

He’s truth that keeps us from confusion.
(John 14:6)

He’s direction that guides us.
(Proverbs 3:5–6)

He’s peace that fills us.
(Philippians 4:7)

He’s a Father who loves us.
(1 John 3:1)

He’s everything we need.
(Philippians 4:19)

You will never regret putting your trust in Him.
You will never regret walking with Him.

You can count on Him.
You can always find help from Him.
(Psalm 118:7)

Keep your life rooted in Him.
You’ll see fruit from Him.

Fruit that tastes like nothing the world can give.
Fruit that not only satisfies…
It sustains.

That’s dependability.
That’s Jesus.
