Available

Intimidated.
Unqualified.

That’s how Moses felt.
(Exodus 3:11)

So he told God…
I’m not a good speaker.
(Exodus 4:10)

The Lord’s reply…
Who gave you your mouth?
(Exodus 4:11)

He told Moses…
I will help you speak.
(Exodus 4:12)

Moses wasn’t perfect.
But he was willing to participate.
(Hebrews 11:27)

God doesn’t need your abilities…
Just your availability.

Are you willing to participate?

That doesn’t mean you need to go to some far-off place.
That doesn’t mean you need to be a pastor.

If you’re called to do that…
Great.

But you can make an impact right where you are.
You can impact those around you.

Well, I’m too young.
It doesn’t matter.

Well, I’m up in years.
It doesn’t matter.

If you’re breathing…
You have purpose.

If God hasn’t called you home…
You’re not done.

You can reflect and inject a little Christ into your conversations, big and small.

You’re a farmer, planting seeds in souls.
You’re showing people Jesus.

Some people are fearful of doing that.
What will people think?
It doesn’t matter.

What if they thank you?
You’ve made a difference.
(1 Corinthians 3:6)

Let’s not fear what people think more than we care about helping them into heaven.

Our lives are just a mist.
The Bible tells us this.
(James 4:14)

We’re here for a little bit of time…
Then we vanish.

Let’s do our best to seize moments and opportunities to be used by God to help people into heaven.

Some people will reject Him.
That’s unfortunate.

Some people are thirsty for Him.
You have the answer.

Let’s enjoy the freedom that comes from not worrying about what other people think.

Let’s do what we can…
While we can.

Let’s be available…
God will enable.
