What God says

We’re not promised a perfect life.
We’re promised that God is with us through this life.
We’re promised we’re not on our own.
We’re promised we’re not alone.

We’re promised we have freedom from fear.
We’re promised provision.

We’re promised everything we need.

We’re His children.
(1 John 3:1)

We’re empowered by His power.
We’re cared for.

We’re given peace.
(John 14:27)

We’re not just a life that exists.
We’re purpose-filled.

There are things that you’ve done and that you’ll do that are only possible because of how God made you…
That’s purpose flowing out of you.

And while that’s all true…
That doesn’t mean that as Christians there won’t be days that we don’t want to deal with…
Days that are difficult.

But we can have complete confidence that no obstacle will overcome us.

Because there’s no obstacle that overcomes God, and it’s Him who works in us, and through us.
(Philippians 4:13)

It’s not your situation that has the last say…
It’s not what someone says…
It’s what God says.

And what God says is…
He’s going to take everything, the good, the bad, the ups, the downs, the clouds, the storms…
He’s going to take it all.

And He’s going to work it all together for our benefit.
(Romans 8:28)

So, let that be an encouragement to you.
Let it propel you.

You have goodness ahead of you.
You have God at work…
In your life.
