If you love God…
If you trust God…
If you praise God…
If you seek Him…
If you prioritize Him…
If you obey Him…
You’re going to have an enemy in the devil.
You’re a thorn in his side.
He thrives in darkness and deception.
Your life exposes his lies.
Your life is light.
You’re a pain to his plan.
So, he tries to be a pain in your life.
He’ll try to rattle you.
He wants you fuming and frustrated.
He wants you feeling dejected.
He wants you deflated.
You’re not a threat to him then.
You’re not impacting people in a positive way.
You’re out of the way.
But, you, you’re not out of the way.
You’re not biting his bait.
You’re not falling for his tricks.
You’re not his victim.
He’s going to find out over, and over, and over again that he has no hope to make you feel hopeless.
You’re overflowing with hope.
Your faith is full of confidence.
Because it’s full of truth.
He’s full of lies.
He’s the father of lies.
(John 8:44)
That means he’s full of fear.
Because lies are always afraid of being found out.
Because when lies are exposed…
Power is lost.
Truth lives in freedom.
Truth is fearless.
Truth doesn’t hide.
Truth hopes more people will find it.
Truth is hope.
Truth is unconquerable.
Truth is power.
Truth doesn’t live in darkness.
Truth lives in light.
Light doesn’t run from darkness.
Darkness runs from light.
God is truth.
God is light.
The devil is darkness.
The devil is lies.
The devil runs from God.
He has no choice.
And you walk with God.
So, the devil will run from you.
Don’t give in to him.
You keep resisting him.
You keep sending him running away.
You have that power.
(James 4:7)
When he shows up again…
When he tries to negatively impact you again…
You know what to do.
You reject him again.
You keep sending him running away.
You have truth.
That means you have God.
That means you have everything.
That means you win.
